Naturemade Vitamins
Since 1971 Nature Made has prided itself on making high quality vitamins that can cover a wide variety of lifestyles, their commitment to the consumer's health has always come first. However, their packaging has some weaknesses.
The main problem with the design is that it blends in with the rest of the shelf, the only way to find the NatureMade is to look for their iconic yellow cap. The shape of the bottle, the graphical style, and the label colors all blend in with the rest of the vitamins on the shelf.

Design Goals
Iconic
The new bottle should stand out from the other vitamins on the shelf, but should still be recognizable as Naturemade
Easy
The new bottle should be easy to open, taking vitamins should be painless to encourage continued use
Sanitary
The new body should have a way to easily get exactly the amount of vitamins you need, without contaminating them

Cardboard models with working lids were made to test the mechanics and ergonomics of the bottle. The lid is designed to hold the vitamin gummies so they never touch the consumer’s hands, reducing contamination.
